Ingredients
  • (2) Rainbow or Brown trout
  • One large yellow onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Pre-Heat oven to 325 F
  2. Gut the trout if you havn't already.
  3. Leave the head, tail, bones, and skin on the trout.
  4. Slice the onion across the grain and then in half so you have half circles.
  5. Open the fish up and place as many onions in as you can possibly fit!
  6. Put salt and pepper inside the fish on the onions to taste.
  7. Wrap the fish in tin foil like a little dish, fold up the sides and put more tin foil on top and crimp the sides.
  8. Place in oven for about 20-30 mins at the most!
  9. Take out and unfold the fish, the skin should stay onto the foil and then you cut the head and tail off, and then peel back the fish from the bones.
  10. After you have one side of the fish off the bones, grab the tail part of the vertabrae and pull the whole bone chain out of the fish.
  11. Wha La! Serve hot with some Rice and a nice salad of your choice!
