How to make it

  • In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition, and vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients;
  • Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • Stir in chips.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes.
  • Cool about 1 minute on pans, then remove to wire racks.
  • Yield: about 4-1/2 dozen.
  • Note: Easily cut irecipe in half to get less. Place bowl in refrig in between each baking.

    These cookies turned out delicious! I made them yesterday but with a little less sugar and my husband couldn't stop eating them. Neither could I. Thanks for a great receipe!

    Michelle, I honestly don't remember. Probably from Better Homes and Garden Recipes as they are always having recipe slideshows on baking and moreso on chocolate. This is called Trilevel Brownies.
