Veggie Stir-Fry

- 1 1/2 Tbs cornstarch shopping list
- 1 Tbs brown sugar (I use sucanent with molasses) shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 Tbs soy sauce (I use Braggs liquid aminos and add a little more as the veggies are cooking) shopping list
- 1 Tbs rice vinegar shopping list
- 2 Tbs sherry shopping list
- pinch of red pepper shopping list
- Mixed veggies of your choice - (I use about 4 or so cups of a mixture of broccoli, baby corn, snow peas, mushrooms, carrots, asparagus, etc) shopping list
- olive oil to coat the pan shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients except veggies and stir regularly over low heat in iron skillet until it thickens.
- Stir fry veggies in a little olive oil until they are crisp cooked
- Add the sauce to the veggies when they are just finished cooking and mix well to coat all the veggies
- I usually add a bit more Braggs or Soy Sauce at this point
- I serve over hot brown basmati rice
