How to make it

  • Cut each pound of mozzarella into 16 cubes.
  • Set up your "station":
  • A shallow pan of flour, a shallow dish with egg, and a shallow dish with bread crumbs.
  • Roll mozzarella in flour.
  • Dip into egg.
  • Roll into bread crumbs.
  • AGAIN..roll in egg and dip in bread crumbs.
  • Sprinkle with romano or parmesan if not using chili powder-enhanced bread crumbs.
  • Fry in hot oil until golden brown and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
  • Suggested dippers:
  • Warm marinara sauce seasoned with fresh basil
  • Ranch dressing
  • Blue cheese dressing seasoned with a dash or 2 of Frank's Hot SauceĀ®
