Chinese Spaghetti

- Yellow flat noodle shopping list
- 2 stalk Cai xin, chopped finely shopping list
- 5 prawns, shelled and deveined shopping list
- 1 piece fish cake, sliced shopping list
- 1/4 carrots, sliced shopping list
- 2-3 cups chicken broth (I always use home-made ones) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oil shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat wok with oil.
- Sauté garlic till fragrant.
- Add in prawns and cook till 70% cooked
- Add in fish cake, carrots and cai xin.
- Cook till prawns and fish cake are done.
- Dish and set aside.
- In the same wok, add in the noodle and broth.
- Simmer till the noodle is cooked and there isn’t much fluid left.
- Now add in the previously cooked ingredients and mix well.
- Add in salt to taste. (I don’t find it necessary as the noodle is slightly salty)
- Dish and serve.
- Note:
- Add more broth to the noodle if you find it too dry. You can substitute the ingredients used with your preferred ones.
