Ingredients

How to make it

  • I have a duck recipe with wine, but it takes a lot of wine and Titos Texas Vodka.
  • 3 bottles White Merlot, 1 bottle Chivas or Titos TEXAS MADE Vodka with a handle on it!!
  • 2 nice fat ducks skinned and breasted, seasoned with Rosemary, chives and smothered in Sauerkraut placed on Cedar Shanks. I would also suggest you bacon wrap a few large Shrimp to place on the smoker while it is a a shame to waste a good fire. Open the first bottle of wine use 2 table spoons to saturate the smothered / covered Ducks. Place the cedar shank ducks on a smoker. Enjoy the remainder of the wine with a friend waiting on the ducks to smoke, the smoking process renders most of the fat from the duck breasts, these juices flow over the cedar shanks and drip on the coals the aroma is just wonderful and will bring in other friends and neighbors to check out what all the commotion is about this is where the other two bottles come in, share the wine with your other friends and enjoy your time off, (You should have a few jokes to share). Have Ice, Lime wedges and Canada Dry TONIC and the bottle TITOS Vodka (recommend only buy bottles with handles on them and make this a known requirement to all of your friends) Make ready large plastic cups so dropped glasses are not an issue, visit drink and enjoy occasionally checking the ducks for all to see. This take time rush not your cooking. Everything should be toasted by now and the ducks ready. Remove the ducks and shrimp from the smoker place aside to rest (be sure not to place the ducks too low if you have dogs, have another Refill your Titos drink and allow everyone to smell and look in awg at the wonderful presentation while eating the shrimp. Carefully remove the ducks from the cedar shanks pace them in foil to be thrown away!! Eat the cedar shanks they will be just as good!! Hope you enjoyed this is a real scenario we pulled at a hunting get away. Don
