This is a recipe that I found in the book Plenty, which is the story of a couple trying to eat locally within a 100 mile radius for the year.

Ingredients
  • 100 Mile Sangria Blanca
  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups highbush cranberries
  • 3 cups frozen blueberries
  • 2 cups hard apple cider

Directions
  1. Pour wine over berries in a large punch bowl.
  2. Let sit covered for 24 hours.
  3. Chill.
  4. Using a splotted spoon, remove most berries, leaving some for presentation.
  5. Add apple cider just before serving to maintain effervescence.
  6. Garnish each glass with additional frozen blueberries.
