Delicious creamy Parmesan alfredo that is quick, cheap and easy to make for the entire family.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • additional cheese: mozzarella, asiago, romano (optional)
  • add: cilantro, basil, or scallions to finished product (optional)

Directions
  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium to low heat.
  2. Add garlic, cream, pepper, salt and bring to simmer.
  3. Turn down heat if the mix reaches a rapid boil or it could boil over in the pan.
  4. Add the cheese and continue to simer sauce for 8 minutes or until thick.
  5. While the sauce is cooking, bring 4-6 cups of water to boil and add pasta. Cook and drain.
  6. When complete, mix sauce, pasta and enjoy!
