Spaghetti Prosciutto And Stilton Recipe
This is a quick-to-put-together pasta that's perfect for unexpected company! You can use Gorgonzola cheese as well but my favourite is Stilton! Serve with Caesar salad and breadsticks.

Ingredients
  • 1 package spaghetti (1 lb)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lb prosciutto, diced
  • 1 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 lb Stilton cheese, crumbled (or gorgonzola)
  • 1/3 c grated Romano cheese
  • fresh parsley for garnish
  • 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish

Directions
  1. Cook spaghetti in large pot of salted boiling water until cooked to your preference.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil and add the prosciutto; cook to warm not crisp.
  4. Add the cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Crumble in the Stilton and stir until thickened.
  6. Pour over spaghetti and toss to coat.
  7. Sprinkle parsley and green onions over top to serve.
