These candies are a favourite on my Christmas goodies tray! They are totally addictive! Really good on top of ice cream sundaes!

Ingredients
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 1/2 c dark brown sugar, packed firmly
  • 3/4 c heavy cream
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1 c pecan pieces

Directions
  1. In a heavy saucepan combine the sugar and the cream.
  2. Heat to 240 degrees (115 C) on a candy thermometer ( stirring constantly).
  3. Remove from heat, stir in the butter and chocolate.
  4. Cool mixture to 110 degrees F (43 C).
  5. Stir in the pecans.
  6. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper and allow to cool and harden.
  7. Yum!
