How to make it

  • Cook sausage in medium saucepan over medium heat until browned stirring to crumble.
  • Drain off all fat except about 2 tablespoons then stir in flour and cook about 2 minutes.
  • Gradually whisk in milk, salt and pepper then cook stirring constantly for five minutes.
