Got this recipe years ago when I worked at the flower shop. It's been a favorite muffin recipe ever since. A sweet, moist muffin, great with tea or coffee.

Ingredients
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions
  1. Combine the first 4 ingredients, set aside
  2. Cream the margarine and sugar until light.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time
  4. Add the sour cream and vanilla
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet.
  6. Bake in a greased 12 muffin tin at 375 degrees for 20 min.
  7. Cool 5 min.
  8. Remove from tin
