Marble Cheesecake

- CRUST shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or I like to use Spanish cookies) shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter shopping list
- cake shopping list
- 4 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 6 oz chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- CRUST
- Mix crumbs and butter; press firmly onto bottom & up the sides of 9-inch spring form pan.
- CAKE
- Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, vanilla & lemon zest with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.
- Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler and mix with a small amount of the batter.
- Add your chocolate batter to the vanilla batter and lightly stir.
- Bake at 325°F for 55 minutes or until center is almost set, loosen cake from side of pan; cool before removing side of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours
