How to make it

  • CRUST
  • Mix crumbs and butter; press firmly onto bottom & up the sides of 9-inch spring form pan.
  • CAKE
  • Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, vanilla & lemon zest with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.
  • Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler and mix with a small amount of the batter.
  • Add your chocolate batter to the vanilla batter and lightly stir.
  • Bake at 325°F for 55 minutes or until center is almost set, loosen cake from side of pan; cool before removing side of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours
