Meaty Peach Pie

- ½ pound ground turkey shopping list
- 1 cup reconstituted TVP granules shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- ½ cup beef broth shopping list
- ½ cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs shopping list
- ½ teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 (15 oz) can sliced peaches (in water), drained shopping list
- 1 tablespoon beef broth shopping list
- 1 tablespoon ketchup shopping list
- 1/8 cup honey shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the ground turkey, TVP, egg, broth, onion, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
- Press into a 9 inch pie pan like a crust. Prick all over.
- Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Remove from oven and pour off any excess fat.
- Arrange the sliced peaches over the pie.
- Mix together the broth, ketchup and honey, and spoon over the top of the peaches.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.
