How to make it

  • Preheat oven 350-375. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix all wet ingredients in another bowl. Put all pieces of chicken in bowl with dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until all pieces are evenly covered. Pour all wet ingredients into bowl and mix thoroughly with large spoon.
  • Prepare foil lined baking tray with a thin layer of cooking oil. Pour chicken in tray; be sure to have pieces evenly placed for even cooking. Cover chicken with all of the sauce. Place a foil covering over the chicken. Place in oven for approximately 1 hour. Halfway through turn chicken pieces and add sliced green pepper, onions and thyme. If you find you have too much gravy, remove the foil covering 15 minutes prior to completion.
