How to make it

  • Cream butter.
  • Add sugar, eggs, milk and extract.
  • Mix and sift all dry ingredients then add to first mixture.
  • Toss 1/4 of mixture onto floured board and roll as thin as possible.
  • Shape with a small round cutter dipped in flour.
  • Place close together on a buttered cookie sheet then bake for 10 minutes at 350.
  • Gather up trimmings and roll with another portion of dough.
  • While baking cookies keep remaining dough in a cool place.
