How to make it

  • In a bowl, combine garlic, mustard and mustard powder.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add oil, drop by drop, whisking until smooth.
  • Place tomatoes in a buttered baking dish.
  • Spread mustard mixture over each tomato half.
  • Broil about 3-inches from the heat for 2 minutes, or until tops are bubbly and golden.
