Ingredients

How to make it

  • Toast the walnuts in a 350 degree oven for five minutes until golden brown but not burnt! Cool completely.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees.
  • Using a metal blade in the food processor, combine the cheese and the butter. Process until crumbly. Add the flour, cooled toasted walnuts and all the remaining ingredients. Pulse again until a dough just barely forms.
  • Divide dough in four parts. On a lightly floured surface pat into a disc. Roll into a five inch round. Cut each round into 6 wedges.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 8 minutes until lightly golden brown on the edges. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
  • Store in air tight tins.

    Hello...
I can hardly wait to try this recipe!
YOU have put-together a Winning combo
    of cheese, nuts and spices!!!
However...will it be 'just as good' if I
use 'pecans' in place of the walnuts?
Thank-you so much for this recipe!!!
    ....mjcmcook....A"5 FORKS"....!
