Pesto Burgers

- 1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef shopping list
- .5 oz. pkg. dry pesto sauce mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 4 English muffins, split with a fork shopping list
- lettuce shopping list
- sliced tomatoes shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare and heat grill. Combine ground beef and pesto sauce with 1 Tbsp. water and mix gently. Shape into 8 thin patties. Place 4 patties on platter and top each with 2 Tbsp. shredded mozzarella cheese and a bit of Parmesan cheese. Top with remaining patties and press edges to seal.
- Grill patties 4-6' from heat and cook 11-13 minutes until meat is no longer pink in center, or reaches 160 degrees on a meat thermometer (be sure you're not checking the cheese temperature in the center). Turn burgers only once, and very carefully. You can grill the English muffins until golden brown and toasted while burgers are cooking. Top with purchased pesto sauce, lettuce and tomato and serve on buns
