Ingredients
  • 2 pickled, stemmed and seeded
  • jalapenos and a little juice from the jalapenos
  • 1/2 C. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 C. chopped, fresh cilantro (a must)
  • 1 14 oz. can peeled tomatoes w/juice, chopped fine
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Chop the first four ingredients together, then add the tomatoes and chop. I find that if I chop everything together in the Cuisinart, it gets foamy.
  2. All our markets here have fresh cilantro, but if you are located where there isn't a large Spanish population, or Mexican markets, try Oriental markets....they will have it.
