Garden Veggie Salad - Chilled

- 14 1/2 oz can French cut green beans shopping list
- 11 oz. can Shoepeg white corn shopping list
- 14 1/2 oz. can petite peas shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 c. chopped celery shopping list
- 1/8 c. chopped pimento shopping list
- Dressing: shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. vinegar shopping list
- 1/3 c vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Drain canned vegetables, chop fresh vegetables, place all in a medum sized bowl.
- Heat sugar, vinegar and oil to boiling, stirring until sugar melts.
- Pour over vegetables. Chill overnight.
- Alternate Dressing recipe (makes it sweeter):
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
