Beefsteak NA KYSELO

- 1 1/2 lbs. round steak, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 T. extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 lrg. onion sliced shopping list
- 1 c. boiling water shopping list
- 1 c. dairy sour cream shopping list
- 2 T. all purpose flour shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 T. ketchup (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Trim any fat from meat
- Cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- Heat oil in heavy skillet
- Brown meat
- Lower heat
- Sprinkle salt over meat
- Top with onion slices
- Pour water over meat
- Simmer, covered, for 50 -60 minutes or until tender
- Check liquid; at end of cooking time there should be about 1 cup
- Remove meat to a hot dish
- Blend sour cream with flour and stir into skillet of juices and mix thoroughly
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- Add ketchup at this point (optional)
- Heat through and pour over meat
- Serve very hot with boiled noodles or potatoes
