How to make it

  • 1.Combine ketchup, chili sauce, anise liqueur, dark brown sugar, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan. Heat thoroughly, stirring until well mixedl.
  • 2.Use for hot dogs, hamburgers, spareribs, seafood and chicken.
  • Makes about 4 1/2 cups.
  • Note: Pastis, ouzo, anesone and anisette are some examples of anise liqueurs; some common brand names include Galliano and Pernod.
