Hot and Spicy Cornbread

- 1 pound hot breakfast sausage shopping list
- 2/3 cup milk shopping list
- 3 green onions with tops chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup thick and chunky salsa shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup biscuit mix shopping list
- 1 egg slightly beaten shopping list
- 1 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Crumble sausage into skillet then add onions and cook over medium heat until sausage is brown.
- Drain off any drippings then place sausage mixture in large bowl and add remaining ingredients.
- Mixing well with wooden spoon then spread evenly into greased rectangular baking dish.
- Bake 20 minutes then cool on wire rack 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
