Crystallized Rose Petals Recipe
These beautiful petals are edible and great as a garnish. You can also use mint leaves if preferred.

Ingredients
  • 1 egg white, room temperature
  • About 48 Red Rose Petals, washed and drained
  • About 3/4 cup Sugar

Directions
  1. Beat egg white until foamy.
  2. Using small pastry brush, coat each petal with beaten egg white.
  3. Brush lightly to remove any excess.
  4. Immediately dip in sugar and place on a rack.
  5. Repeat procedure with remaining petals.
  6. Refrigerate overnight to dry.
  7. YIELD: 4 dozen
