Chocolate Sheath Cake Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a bowl mix: Flour and Sugar. Set Aside
  • In a boiler heat: Oleo, Water, Oil, Coco and Vanilla. Do not boil just let get steamy hot. Pour over Flour and Sugar mixture.
  • Add Buttermilk and Egg.
  • Pour in a greased and floured 13x9 cake pan.
  • Bake 400 for 20 minutes.
  • Icing:
  • Blend all ingredients well and pour over hot cake right from the oven.

    this is the best cake ever,just like mom used to make, and yes it is sheath cake not sheet because it is covered in fudge frosting

    This sounds like a good version of a chocolate sheet cake. Is the name really "Sheath" or is it "Sheet?" But it sounds good and I'll have to try it someday. Thank you for posting it!
