Kimchi Cucumbers Polish 24 Hr Pickles

- 10 cucumbers, slender and small shopping list
- 4 Tbsp. salt shopping list
- 1 Tbsp.green onion, sliced finely shopping list
- 1 Tbsp.chopped garlic shopping list
- 1 tbsp.cayenne or powdered red pepper shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
How to make it
- Cut each cucumber into 2 or 3 pieces.
- Take a sharp knife and cut through sides of cucumber three times.
- Salt them and let them stand for an hour or more.
- Mix garlic, onion, 1 tsp salt and red pepper. Put this mixture into the slits in the cucumbers.
- Place them in a jar and pour water ( properly salted ) slowly to cover.
- Let it stand for a day or more before serving. ( I keep them in refrig.)
