Eggnog French Toast

- 7 oz. loaf French bread( 12 in. long day old Italian bread) shopping list
- 11/2 c.dairy eggnog shopping list
- 1/4c. butter or margarine shopping list
- any type pie filling ot favorite preserve shopping list
How to make it
- cut bread in 12 3/4 in thick slices
- place bread in single layer shallow dish and pour eggnog over slices
- let stand turning bread once until eggnog is absorbed(approx 5 mnutes)
- in large skillet place butter and cook slices until golden brown on both sides
- serve hot, top with cherry pie filling or any preserve.
