Ingredients

How to make it

  • cut bread in 12 3/4 in thick slices
  • place bread in single layer shallow dish and pour eggnog over slices
  • let stand turning bread once until eggnog is absorbed(approx 5 mnutes)
  • in large skillet place butter and cook slices until golden brown on both sides
  • serve hot, top with cherry pie filling or any preserve.

    Love eggnog, I'm sure this would make good french toast. Pie filling would make a great topping with a dollop of cool whip on the top, YUM, great post.
