Lemon-Lime Fondue

                    - 1 c sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 4 c water shopping list
- 1/2 c butter shopping list
- 1/4 c lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 c lime juice shopping list
- 1 tbsp each grated lemon and lime peel shopping list
- Gingerbread cubes, meringues, sliced fruit, pound cake cubes, etc. for dipping. shopping list
How to make it 
                    - In a heavy saucepan combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Stir in the water until smooth then bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Cook and stir for about 2 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the butter, lemon and lime juice, and lemon and lime zest and stir until butter is melted.
- Transfer to a fondue pot and keep warm.
- Serve with gingerbread, etc as dippers.
- Makes about 5 cups.
