Noodled Tofu

- 1 package of tofu, firm shopping list
- 1/2 C of shitake mushrooms shopping list
- 120g noodles- rice, egg, whatever you feel like shopping list
- 1 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp soy sauce shopping list
- 3/4C water shopping list
- 1 tsp sesame oil shopping list
How to make it
- Drain the tofu, place on wooden chopping board
- Using a fork, crumble the tofu block and place in a bowl
- Chop the shitake mushrooms and add to the tofu
- Mix in the teriyaki sauce, making sure this is well distributed
- Cover the bowl with cling wrap and chill for at least 1 hour
- In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil
- When the oil is hot enough for stir fry, throw in the marinated mixture
- Stir fry for 10 minutes
- Add the water, then throw in the noodles
- Toss well and make sure the noodles get cooked at the same time, you don't want soggy strands in one forkful, grainy ones the next
- Add the soy sauce to lend more flavor to the noodles, the tofu is already exceptional being that it was marinated on its own
- Cook for approximately 5 minutes
- Serve after having sprinkled the sesame oil last
