Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe
The old family favorite! What's better than a tall stack of buttermilk pancakes. topped with butter an syrup to start off your morning?

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Directions
  1. Preheat a skillet over a medium heat. Place all of the ingredients into a blender and puree until the batter becomes smooth.
  2. Pour onto the griddle, to create 5 pancakes. Flip when the edges harden then cook on other side, for same amount of time, until they become golden brown.

Sadly to say, I have never been able to cook good pancakes, even the box kind! But I was very proud of the ones I made from this recipe. My three year old couldn't get enough.


My fiance made these for me for breakfast...they were the worse ones I have ever tasted...It could be his cooking skills....but they were thin, greasy, and tastless.
