How to make it

  • put the sponge in oven proof baking dish,dont worry about the edges just sqeeze it in.make your own sponge if you want
  • mix the assorted berries of your choice with the lemon,2 tbs sugar drop of brandy and stir together
  • place on the sponge to the edges
  • cover with about a litre of ice cream
  • cover with the merenge right to the edges,so no ice cream is showing
  • cook in hot oven for 3 4 mins keep your eye on it though,serve straight away with double cream and watch your waists grow.regards
