- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 1large green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken shopping list
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomato and green chiles shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 12 (6 inch) corn tortillas shopping list
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded chedder cheese, divided shopping list
How to make it
- saute onion and bell pepper in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat until tender.stir in chicken and next 7 ingredients (up to the pepper). remove from heat
- Tear tortillas into 2 inch pieces; layer one third of tortilla pieces in bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish. top with one third chicken mixture and one third cheese. repeat layers twice.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
