elegant plum raspberry crumble

- 2 pounds red plums, cut into wedges shopping list
- 2/3 c white sugar, divided shopping list
- 1 1/4 c whole wheat flour shopping list
- 2 TBSP orange juice shopping list
- 1/2 pint fresh raspberries shopping list
- 1/3 c brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt shopping list
- 8 TBSP butter shopping list
- 1/2 c dry oats shopping list
- 1/2 c sliced almonds, plus extra for sprinkling shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- In large bowl combine sliced plums, 1/3c of sugar, 1/4 c of flour, and orange juice. toss well. add raspberries and toss lightly. pour into 9x12 baking dish.
- Combine remaining 1 c flour and remaining 1/3 c sugar, brown sugar, and salt. stir.
- Add butter and cut with two knives or pastry cutter until crumbly. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the oats, and work it with your hands until it's in large crumbles.
- Add 1/2 c of the almonds and mix well. spread topping over plums. sprinkle with a few extra almonds.
- Bake 40 mins. or until fruit is tender and bubbly and topping is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temp.
