The Wurst Casserole

This recipe came from the food section of my paper and since my husband's middle name is 'sausage' I figured I better latch on to this. It is tasty,
Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 red onion chopped shopping list
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1/2 grated potato shopping list
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon carroway seeds shopping list
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar shopping list
- 1 lb smoked, fully cooked german sausage sliced shopping list
- 16 ounces sauerkraut, rinsed and drained shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350 deg.
- place all ingredients except kraut in a 2/1/2 qt casserole
- which has been coated with cooking spray.
- GENTLY mix ingredients
- cover with sauerkraut
- cover dish and bake until heated through and bubbly
- about 40 minutes
