Spicy Cherry Ham Slice

Ingredients
- 1 slice ready to eat ham, 1 1/2" thick shopping list
- whole cloves shopping list
- 1 can (16oz) sour cherries and juice shopping list
- 6 pear halves shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. allspice shopping list
- 1 TB. cornstarch shopping list
How to make it
- Score fat. Stick cherries on the fat with cloves. Put ham in a large enough baking dish to allow pears to be placed cut side down around ham. Put remaining cherries on top of ham. Mix sugar and spices. Sprinkle over the top of ham. Make a paste of a small amount of cherry juice and cornstarch. Gradually add the rest of the juice. Pour over the pears. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.

OMG... this sounds so good.. My husband loves ham.. trying this weekend... he get this if he completes the "honey do" list! This just might do the trick...
