Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • In a small bowl, mix together the Olive Oil, Essence, 1/2 tsp of black peppercorns and 1/2 tsp salt, and spread evenly over the beef.
  • Heat a large, ovenproof skillet over med-high heat
  • Add the beef and sear on all sides
  • Transfer to the oven and roast for 25 minutes for med-rare.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes
  • Cut the tenderloin into slices.
  • In a bowl, combine the mayo, horseradish, lemon juice, remaining 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper, and mix to blend
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to use
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, toss the arugula with olive oil
  • Generously spread both sides of the French bread with the horseradish mayo.
  • Top one slice with the roast beef, tomato, arugula and cheese.
  • Top with remaining slice of bread and press down to close.

  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp dried leaf oregano
  • 1 Tbsp dried Thyme
  • combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight container

    Sounds fantastic, however did this escape we hungry "foodies"?!! Big 5 for tenderloin.
