Healthy Haunting Recipe
A great way to make sure the kids get their fruit and dairy with some creativity and they can help make them as well. ;)

Ingredients
  • 8 popsickle sticks
  • 8 half peeled bananas
  • 1 8oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1/2 cp peanut butter ( leave out in the case of allergies )
  • 1 lg bg white chocolate chips
  • sm bx raisins

Directions
  1. Melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Should take no longer than 20 minutes but varies according to stoves, altitudes, etc. Peel the bananas only halfway. The peels hanging down will help create the skirt shape of a ghost. Mix the peanut butter and cream cheese together and place just enough around each one from peels about halfway to tip, tapering as you go to create the shape of the ghost. Place the popsickle sticks in the bottom of the unpeeled end and dip top part into the melted white chocolate. Add 2 raisins to each one before set to make it look like eyes. Freeze on a cookie sheet an hour or more. The hardest part of this recipe is getting the bananas deep enough into the melted chocolate. My suggestion is to use bananas which are not overly ripe and tip the pot to one side. If need be, you can use a small dipper or soup spoon to pour over top. Chocolate becomes firm again fairly quick once removed from the heat so there should be no concern of it dripping in unwanted directions.
