Ingredients

How to make it

  • Beat eggs slightly
  • Mix sugar and flour well
  • Add to eggs
  • Mix only until creamy
  • Add buttermilk and vanilla
  • Bake 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour until custard is set
  • SAUCE
  • In saucepan whisk preserves, medium heat, stirring constantly
  • until smooth
  • Remove from heat, add Chamborde
  • Let cool until lukewarm and serve over warm pie or pie at room temperature
  • THIS IS A RARE TREAT WITH THE BLACKBERRY SAUCE!

    Ooooo, yum! I don't use alcohol so will come up with a sub for the Chamborde, but otherwise this sounds heavenly! :)
