- Crust: shopping list
- 11/2 c. flour shopping list
- 1/4 c. sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c. butter shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 1 Tbs. water shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 4 eggs seperated shopping list
- 12 oz. ricotta shopping list
- 1 tsp. potato starch shopping list
- zest from 2 lg.lemons shopping list
- juice of 3 lemons shopping list
How to make it
- Crust:
- In a food processor combine flour,sugar,salt,and butter to a course meal state.add egg and water until it forms a ball.
- Roll out and line a torte pan.
- Filling:
- Beat 4 egg yolks and 1/2 c. sugar until light; add ricotta through a fine sieve to egg mixture. add lemon zest and juice to eggs.
- Beat 4 egg whites to stiff peaks and add to egg and ricotta mixture.
- Pour into tart shell.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake
- 35-40 min. at 350degrees.
- Chill at least 3 hours.
