I made a great big bowl of this and took it to work with some Cool Whip - just in case. Almost nobody used the whipped topping because the fruit salad taste was exceptionally good to have been made from mostly canned fruits.

Ingredients
  • Almost Canned Fruit Salad
  • 1 can peach pie filling
  • 1 can cubed pineapple
  • 1 can fruit cocktail
  • 1 can mandarin orange slices
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • (10-oz) frozen whole strawberries
  • 1 can cherries - no stems

Directions
  1. Put peach pie filling in large bowl.
  2. DRAIN all can fruits and add fruit to filling.
  3. Slice bananas and add.
  4. Add 1 bag of frozen strawberries.
  5. Stir all together and refrigerate overnight before serving.
  6. (It makes its own syrup.)
