How to make it

  • combine first six ingredients in a saucepan mixing well
  • bring to simmer over medium high heat for 8 to 10 minutes until sauce is smooth yet thickened
  • cut hotdogs almost halfway through in several places along one side only
  • place cut dogs in a large skillet over meduim heat
  • add the sauce to the skillet with the dogs
  • baste dogs in the sauce as they cook
  • as the hot dogs cook they will form circle
  • place one dog on a toasted bun filling center of dog with the heated baked beans
