Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook together beef and bacon and onion; drain. Add sugars, ketchup, barbeque sauce, molasses, prepared mustard, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir until thoroughly mixed before adding the beans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serves 10 -12 people for side dish.
  • Now for us: I use this as a main meal on the run. We cut on top hot dog in rounds and add it to the top of the beans and serve it with a can of baked buscuits.
  • My version of this recipe is:
  • I usually double the sauce
  • I use 2 large pork and beans, undrained
  • Butter beans, drained, small to medium
  • Kidney beans, drained, small to medium
  • Cut up hot dog on top
  • bake
  • I AM SURE YOU CAN ADD BACON ON TOP OR BACON WRAPPED HOT DOGS....
