Ingredients
  • 2 kilo bulalo or boned beef shank
  • 2 tbsp Lea & Perrins Worcesteershire Sauce
  • 3 medium-sized potatoes
  • 4 pcs. saging na saba, cubed
  • 1 pechay
  • 1 medium onion, divided into four
  • pepper corns
  • 1 tbsp seawater salt
  • water enough to cover meat

Directions
  1. Boil the beef shank with bones with the onions, salt, and pepper.
  2. Remove the fat and scum from the broth while boiling, and after boiling, taste to see if the seasoning is right and adjust accordingly.
  3. Add the potatoes, more onions, and worcestershire sauce.
  4. Boil for 30 minutes in a covered pot or pressure cooker.
  5. Add pechay shortly before serving.
  6. My tita once said that boiling the beef with fresh orange peel would heighten the taste but i have yet to try it .

Sounds good , but what where can i get "Pechay" and what is it??

I'd like o try this recipe....


Is pechay a chinese napa cabbage, thats what we called pechay, but the veggie kinda look like cabbage


Is it whole orange peel or grated orange peel aren they gonna be bitter if you ised them whole
