WORLD FAMOUS RIBS Recipe
THIS IS ANOTHER RECIPE THAT GOES ALL AGAINST MY BELIEFS IN MAKING RIBS. I HATE PAR BOILING WHEN I GRILL. BUT THIS MIXTURE IS SO GOOD.

Ingredients
  • RIBS:
  • 6-8 POUNDS PORK SPARERIBS
  • 2 APPLES, UNPEELED AND HALVED
  • 3-4 CLOVES GARLIC, COARSLEY CHOPPED
  • 1 (12 OUNCE) CAN BEER
  • 1 CUP CIDER VINEGAR
  • SAUCE: ( IHAVE NEVER MADE THIS SAUCE, I USE MY FAVORITE SAUCE OR SOMETHING ELSE I MAY WHIP UP)
  • 1 MEDIUM ONION
  • 1 (8 OUNCE) CAN TOMATO SAUCE
  • 1/2 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
  • 1/4 CUP VINEGAR
  • 2 TABLESPOONS CHILI POWDER
  • 2 TABLESPOONS VEGGIE OIL
  • 1 TABLESPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
  • 2 TEASPOONS SALT
  • 1/4 TEASPOON DRY MUSTARD

Directions
  1. RIBS:
  2. PLACE RIBS IN DUTCH OVEN, ADD APPLE HALVES, GARLIC, BEER, VINEGAR, ADD WATER TO COVER.
  3. BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL MEAT IS TENDER. DISCARD APPLES AND GARLIC.
  4. SAUCE: COMBINE ALL IN SAUCEPAN.
  5. STIR WELL AND BRING TO A BOIL, COOK STIRRING CONSTANTLY 10 MINUTES.
  6. GRILLING RIBS:
  7. BASTE RIBS WITH A SAUCE
  8. GRILL COVERED OVER MEDIUM HOT COALS ABOUT 10 MINUTES, TURNING ONCE IN AWHILE, BASTING OFTEN
