- RIBS: shopping list
- 6-8 POUNDS pork spareribs shopping list
- 2 apples, UNPEELED AND HALVED shopping list
- 3-4 cloves garlic, COARSLEY CHOPPED shopping list
- 1 (12 OUNCE) CAN beer shopping list
- 1 CUP cider vinegar shopping list
- SAUCE: ( IHAVE NEVER MADE THIS SAUCE, I USE MY FAVORITE SAUCE OR SOMETHING ELSE I MAY WHIP UP) shopping list
- 1 MEDIUM onion shopping list
- 1 (8 OUNCE) can tomato saucE shopping list
- 1/2 CUP PACKED brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 CUP vinegar shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS chili powder shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS VEGGIE oil shopping list
- 1 TABLESPOON worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 TEASPOONS salt shopping list
- 1/4 TEASPOON dry mustard shopping list
How to make it
- RIBS:
- PLACE RIBS IN DUTCH OVEN, ADD APPLE HALVES, GARLIC, BEER, VINEGAR, ADD WATER TO COVER.
- BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL MEAT IS TENDER. DISCARD APPLES AND GARLIC.
- SAUCE: COMBINE ALL IN SAUCEPAN.
- STIR WELL AND BRING TO A BOIL, COOK STIRRING CONSTANTLY 10 MINUTES.
- GRILLING RIBS:
- BASTE RIBS WITH A SAUCE
- GRILL COVERED OVER MEDIUM HOT COALS ABOUT 10 MINUTES, TURNING ONCE IN AWHILE, BASTING OFTEN
