Ingredients
  • 1kg lamb cut into large chunks
  • olive oil
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 carrot sliced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 500ml yogurt
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 egg yolks

Directions
  1. brown lamb
  2. add onions brown for further 5 min
  3. add 2 cups water and salt bring to the boil
  4. skim froth cover and cook for 45 min
  5. add carrots cook for 30min more
  6. drain sauce and reduce to 1 cup
  7. arrange meat, peas and carrots in an oven dish
  8. in a small pan carefully mix the yogurt and flour
  9. slowly add boiling sauce, stirring constantly
  10. beat in the egg yolks
  11. pour sauce over meat and bake in hot oven f or 10-15 min until golden brown
