Turkish Ankara Lamb Roast

- 1kg lamb cut into large chunks shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 2 onions sliced shopping list
- 1 carrot sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup peas shopping list
- 500ml yogurt shopping list
- 1 tbsp flour shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
How to make it
- brown lamb
- add onions brown for further 5 min
- add 2 cups water and salt bring to the boil
- skim froth cover and cook for 45 min
- add carrots cook for 30min more
- drain sauce and reduce to 1 cup
- arrange meat, peas and carrots in an oven dish
- in a small pan carefully mix the yogurt and flour
- slowly add boiling sauce, stirring constantly
- beat in the egg yolks
- pour sauce over meat and bake in hot oven f or 10-15 min until golden brown
