CHICKEN ATOP RICE

- 1 ¼ cup rice uncooked (long grain regular) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion (optional) shopping list
- ½ teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 stick celery, chopped (optional) shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 2 ½ or 3 pounds of chicken breast or pork chops shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted shopping list
- ½ teaspoon salt shopping list
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a 9x13 inch baking pan combine first seven ingredients, mix well. Arrange meat on rice mixture skin side up. Drizzle with the butter. Sprinkle with salt and paprika. Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
- For pork chops brown chops arrange on rice mixture and omit butter.
- Makes 5 to 6 servings.
