Guaitiao Rad Na Wide Noodles in a Creamy Sauce

- 1 cup of pork loin thinly sliced and cut into bite size pieces shopping list
- 1 cup of sen yai soaked until soft in warm water shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups broccoli shopping list
- 1/4 cup kaffir lime leaves shredded shopping list
- 1/4 cup basil shredded shopping list
- 1/4 cup mushrooms shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons dark sweet soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons maggi seasoning shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder mixed in a little water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon garlic thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly milled black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine Maggi sauce, fish sauce and soy sauce then add pepper.
- Marinade meat for 1 hour before draining reserving marinade.
- Cut 3/4 cup broccoli then peel and slice stems then chop leaves.
- Shred basil and lime leaves.
- In large wok over medium heat sauté garlic in oil then stir fry the noodles until they turn brown.
- Remove and turn heat to high and briefly stir fry the pork to seal it.
- In a large saucepan heat water then stir in and boil briefly the marinade and arrowroot.
- Add meat and other ingredients except noodles and stir occasionally for 10 minutes.
- Add noodles and continue to cook for 4 minutes to complete the dish.
- Serve in individual bowls.
