Breakfast Pie

- pie crust (store bought or homemade, to fit a 9" pie pan) shopping list
- 8 - 10 eggs (depending on size - I use 8 XL) shopping list
- Splash of milk/cream (1/8 cup?) shopping list
- Finely shredded cheese, your favorite (I use cheddar) shopping list
- 12 ounces of breakfast meat (I use a package of center cut bacon) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325
- Cook the breakfast meat
- Line 9" glass pie pan with crust - bake if necessary (not needed if using prepared pie crust)
- Layer a healthy portion of shredded cheese evenly in the pie pan, about 1 cup
- Layer the cooked & drained breakfast meat over the cheese
- In a separate bowl, combine the eggs and milk/cream. Pour over the meat and cheese
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes
- Cut into quarters and serve with mixed fruit and preferred breakfast beverages
