How to make it

  • Steam or simmer cauliflower heads for about 15 minutes or until it is crisp tender
  • Blend together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes
  • Add the stiffly beaten egg whites to the mayonnaise mixture
  • "Frost" cauliflowers with the mayonnaise-egg white mixture
  • Place in baking pan
  • Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until frosting begins to brown
  • Remove cauliflower to serving dish
  • Before serving, cut into pie-shaped wedges and garnish with fresh parsley

    Oh how yummy, I'd never would have thought of this preparation. Thank you for a different way to cook cauliflower. Since it is one of the allowed veggies on my plate, this will be made very soon. Yahoo!
